Mubarak’s Going to UAE
United Arab Emirates occupies a total area of about 83,600 square kilometers (32,400 square miles), along the south-eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula between 22°50 and 26°N and between 51° and 56°25 E. Qatar lies to the west and north-west, Saudi Arabia to the west and south and Oman to the north, east and south-east.
The former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has left with his family to UAE, as reported by the Al Jazeera via Twitter. The BBC reports that Mubarak left the country at 13:00 hours (local time). Meanwhile, Al Arabiya, said in turn that the president and his family have left Cairo and are traveling to a tourist resort on the Sinai Peninsula. After resigning his position Friday, Mubarak flew by helicopter along with his family to the country’s southern resort of Sharm el Sheikh, with the aim of preparing his exile.
